Easy Money - The XCEL Rebate and the Federal Investment Tax Credit

Because the XCEL program may take up to 3 months IPS floats the rebate, meaning that the $3.50 per watt rebate never leaves your pocket, we cover that portion of the cost and wait for XCEL to refund our investment. This combined with the federal investment tax credit pay for up to 60% of the cost of a solar electric system, the tax credit also rolls over for up to 8 years.
